How to tidy, declutter and organise with children

Decluttering, organising and creating systems at home are powerful tools to make space for more joy, physically and mentally. Having racked up 1,200+ tidying hours (updated as of May 2023) with my 1-to-1 clients (most of whom are parents) and as a mum of two, I see the practical challenges of maintaining an organised home. When I say organised, I don’t mean Instagram or Pinterest-worthy. I’m talking about an inviting sanctuary for parents and children, a home that is the antidote to our stress rather than a cause of it.

If getting on top of the mountain of “kids stuff” feels out of reach, you most certainly are not alone. I started writing this blog post of advice on how to involve your kids on your tidying journey. I wanted to share ways to guide children through the KonMari Method®. This blog expanded as I thought about all the practical snippets of advice and regular conversations I have with my 1-to-1 clients. So here it is as a PDF… ta-da! You can save it or print it from the link below.
